*sigh* what can i say? this photo session was bittersweet...
my dear friend, diana and her family will be moving next week :(. now i have only gotten to know diana just recently ( i sing with her at ThatChurch in Sherwood ) and i feel just as close to her as some of my friends that i have known years... she is just that kind of gal! but alas... her family must relocate but i know that we will keep in touch, because i would be just CrAzY to not keep in touch with her! i snagged her this evening and got a little photo session in because i just had to before she moved! her little darlin', emily is just the sweetest and just this week told me " i love you jessica! " * tears * i am going to miss that little silly girl!
so even though i am sad to think of this as the first ( and last ) photo session with sweet emma lou and beautiful diana... i know that we will remain friends for many many years!

kids are so funny, but i personally believe ( and i am sure i am biased ) that my daughter is one of the funniest!
i was cleaning house, which still does not look clean... when i looked outside and saw K fast asleep in the shaded area of our yard. i was shocked! my child does NOT lay in the bug infested grass!!! so I grabbed my handy dandy cam and set out the back door for some "caught in the moment" shots... little did I know this grass fairy was not fast asleep but was in full blown "ready to get ya!" attack mode!
so I caught a few of what I thought were "awww such a sweet innocent angel baby" images....
and then......

little stinker!

you had better believe K and i got outside today! whew wee, it was super nice out! we pitched a little tent and K had a blast reading, playing with Winston and eating popsicles... you'd had thought it was Summer! what have you been doing to enjoy this wonderful weather?!

"You know you're in love when you can't fall asleep  because reality is finally better than your dreams"

i think that i may make this a 'thing' when i go on photo shoots... have the kids take a picture, they seem to really enjoy it and i think it is so much fun! check this out... didn't she do an awesome job!?

"Winter came down to our home one night
Quietly pirouetting in on silvery-toed slippers of snow,
And we, we were children once again."

~Bill Morgan, Jr.

I only have a minute to post this sneak peek, in fact, I don't even have a minute but I could not help but to edit just a few of these as soon as I had a chance... I had a fantastic little mini session with these two adorable little girls and absolutely loved their room! Found this little white trunk at Grandma's Flea Market in Cabot as well - really loving the Cabot area this week! Enjoy!
