Little Chloe was my April i.wanna.shoot contest winner and won a free Rainy Day mini session! Although we had just had a major storm the night before - it was sunny and dry for our session so... we made our own rain ( with the water hose! ) there was a leftover puddle to play in so we made use of that but overall I am just loving how these pictures turned out! I have to say that I had a smile on my face and even laughed out loud a few times while I was editing this sneak peek - Chloe is just a doll and her smile just makes you want to chuckle!

I had a fantastic time with the Parker family last week at our session! It was so fun playing in the water, learning what a "creamed horn" was ( lol ) and capturing family moments on camera - you can just feel the love and Beth your smile is absolutely contagious! I cannot wait to meet your new addition soon and so excited for you this week to find out what you are having!!! Enjoy your sneak peek!
Before you ask... I just had to title this post " the ants go marching...." due to the fact that we were eaten alive by ants!!! The kiddos are fine but us mom's must have been wearing ant hormones... my poor little assistant Kensey was the first to encounter the buggers ( haha, i have always wanted to say that word! ) I hope that the little ones are ok, I am pretty sure Faith was taken care of propped on the blanket. Aside from the heat at 8am in the morning, which you would think not to be bad... and the ants and the humidity, we got some amazing shots and I am so happy that I got to feature my handmade items from P*Pie for our Fall 2010 Launch Sept 1st. The headbands, baby legs, hat and tie are all from our Fall line for babies and toddlers. Whitney, I hope you enjoy the sneak peek and I will be done with your gallery by Wednesday!
Today I took my favorite models to a new location I have been wanting to shoot at. This lush grass field around the corner from my home! They had a blast playing in the grass ( or hay this time of year! ) and I cannot wait to bring them back when it is green ( crossing my fingers it is not chopped down before then! ). I am excited for the next few sessions I will have at this field :).
